The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is The Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program for Indiana. It is funded by Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service in partnership with Indiana Family & Social Services and the United States Department of Agriculture. The mission of The Family Nutrtion Program is to help families with limited resources utilize their food stamp dollars appropriately. The FNP Assistant is available to provide free, informal educational programs in the areas of basic nutrition, meal planning and food purchasing, preparation and safety, and resource management.
