Sandridge
Sandridge is located on Highway 66 at the start of Highway 161. It is approximately 6 miles west of Rockport and 3 miles east of Hatfield.
There are about 20 homes in the area. Sandale Cemetery and B J's Video are located in this small village.
Sandridge was named for the sandy ridge that runs through the area. The sand was mined and exported for the manufacture of fine pottery many years ago. Holes and valleys stand witness to the men who dug the sand.
