Newtonville
Newtonville is a rural village between Santa Claus and Grandview with less than 100 residents. It is located on Highway 70, about four and a half miles west of Chrisney.
First surveyed in 1865 with 14 lots, the village grew slowly over the years. The village which was named after the Newton family which owned part of the land upon which the town was built. By the late 1800's, the town boasted a trading post and several businesses.
Today, Newtonville is home to two churches and a lodge.
