Evanston![]() Evanston is located at the intersection of County roads 1150 East and 1050 North 2.5 miles north of Highway 66. Surrounded by scenic wooded hills and farmland, Evanston was founded in 1888 when Southern Railroad built a line through the area. Situated in east-central Spencer County, Evanston's Little League baseball field stays active all summer. The village also is home to the Evanston Civic Association, which built the park and a community building. Each year, the association celebrates with an annual Hog Roast in September to raise money to improve the park. |
