Enterprise
Enterprise is located 2.5 miles south of Highway 66 on County Road 600 West.
Along the Ohio river in the western part of the county is Enterprise. At one time, Enterprise was a fitting name for the town. Local settlers and farmers took their produce to the town's docks, where they could load their cargo for sale in larger towns along the Ohio River
As the river became less vital for transportation of produce, the river community's population dwindled.
Today, only a handful of people live in the area year round, but during summer months, the population balloons to 500 with river campers and recreationists seeking a quiet, relaxing spot to enjoy the Ohio River.
